Thanks for visiting. Most of my photography is done in the natural areas of the southeast U.S., not too far from my home in central North Carolina. I’m particularly fond of northeastern and coastal North Carolina, and I’ve recently discovered the charms of the low country of South Carolina.
Photography provides me with a great incentive to get out and experience more fine sunrises and beautiful sunsets, and to spend the hours in between exploring a new natural area, looking for an unusual wildlfower, watching the activities of an interesting animal, or perhaps seeing a familiar landscape in a particularly beautiful light.
Of course sharing my photos and having people interested in using or purchasing my work is satisfying too. I've enjoyed seeing my work used on websites and in print. My photos are copyrighted, however, so please ask before using them.
If you'd like to consider purchasing any of my images as prints and or note cards, many are available on-line at Etsy or at Fine Art America. If you are interested in something you don't see on one of those sites, have a question or comments about any of my images, or even if you just want to talk nature photography feel free to contact me.
